How do I get from the airport to Golden?

Answer

There are many options! You could rent a car, Uber/Lyft, book a shuttle, or hop on the light rail. Note that the light rail does not take you directly to downtown Golden and you will need to Uber/Lyft the last 2.5 miles. Where should I book my room?

Answer

We have a preferred block of rooms at the Eddy Taproom and Hotel. If that block is full we also have a block booked at the Golden Hotel. Shuttles will run from both hotels to the wedding/reception.

How can I get around Golden?

Answer

There are many options available to you. Rental cars, Uber/Lyft rides, and shuttles are all great options. We will be providing a shuttle to and from our rehearsal dinner Friday night (if you are staying at the Eddy Hotel). Shuttles will also be provided from the Eddy Hotel and the Golden Hotel for the wedding/reception.

What will the weather be like?

Colorado is so unpredictable! It could be 70 degrees and sunny one day and 30 degrees and snowing the next. Pack lots of layers and a good pair of warm boots for walking around town!

Any favorite restaurants or bars in the area?

Answer

Bret and I like New Terrain Brewing Company located north of the main strip of Golden. It's a short 10 minute drive away. If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant, Bella Colibri is super delicious and located on the main strip of Golden. We also enjoy D'Deli for sandwiches and have heard the Golden Mill is good for happy hour.
