Maid of Honor
She's my big sis! We're polar opposites (brunette vs blonde, coffee vs tea, 10 pm bedtime vs, 3 am, absolute genius vs dreamer...) and yet the absolute most kindred of spirits. She is the Diana to my Anne. The Elizabeth to my Jane. The Jo March to my Meg/Amy. She's my best friend! Tirzah is the definition of a big sister. She loves hard, looks out for me, roots for me, and challenges me to be the best I can be. She has been by my side since day one and I truly couldn’t imagine this day without her standing by my side. I am honored to be her little sister!
Bridesmaid
Paige and I met the first week of freshmen year at Grove City. To know her is to have an absolute blast and be in stitches laughing for most of the time. We are blessed to live close to one another, so we've shared many memories, both during the year and over summer breaks. Even more than her amazing sense of humor though, Paige has a passion for serving Christ that has been such a gift to witness. I’ve had the privilege of seeing God work through her in some incredible ways the past few years and I am so humbled that I have been able to see that. I love her to bits and I simply can't picture life without her!
Bridesmaid
Megan and I started getting to know each other through the freshmen connection app before freshman year. We ended up being hall neighbors, and boy am I grateful we were. Megan has the gift of listening and extends the live she has in Christ in the way that she listens and shares uplifting words. Her laugh is contagious, she is the definition of encouragement, and her friendship is a true gift from God and I’m so glad I will have her by my side on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Faith and I met sophomore year at Grove City. She helped me pass Cell Bio and shared a hotel at 2:00 am after being kicked out of the dorms (iykyk)... so needless to say we've been through a lot together. She is one of the greatest adventure buddies and is always up for a spontaneous trip! Faith has a heart for God that I have learned so much from. She has desire to serve people that is so clearly from Christ and she carries out that service humbly and gracefully. The conversations I have had with her have always left me feeling more joyful, encouraged, loved and inspired. I am so blessed to have her in my life.
Bridesmaid
Cammy and I met the first week of freshmen year at Grove City. When I was considering transferring (all three times) from Grove, she was supportive, and loving and even took time to put together plans for various majors to help me decide on a path. Cammy is such a faithful friend and that only reflects the beautiful faith she has in Christ and shares so lovingly with those she knows. I am so blessed to have her in my life.
Bridesmaid
Emma and I met at an education major luncheon the first week of freshmen year and ended up finding out we lived on the same hall. She has the gift of loving people!! There were many times when she would take the time to listen and pray over me during hard times and rejoice and laugh during the good times. Her friendship is an absolute treasure!
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah the first week I moved to Mount Joy my senior year of high school. My family started going to Mount Joy Mennonite Church and she was one of the first people I talked to there. Her friendship was such a gift from God (and still is) as I transitioned into a new place and season. We've been through a lot of ups and downs together and she continues to inspire me with her faith and joy.
Bridesmaid
Sara is Billy's older sister and soon to be mine! Billy and I were only dating a week when I was able to be at her and Matt’s wedding. How cool is that? We were able to start our relationship witnessing such a God honoring and sweet couple set an example for us, of honoring and loving each other so well. Their relationship has been such an amazing example and I have learned so much from watching them. I've loved getting to know Sara as Billy and I have dated and can't wait to gain her as a sister in law!
Bridesmaid
Morgan is a cousin to me but has grown to be more like a little sister. Her caring heart, sweet smile and kindness brighten up wherever she goes. She is a true dear and I am so grateful that I've had her in my life.
Best Man
I wanted to make David my best man because he's the only one qualified to do it. No one knows me better. No one knows how to irritate me and make me laugh in the same sentence. No one has been plotting revenge for the pencil lead imbedded in his hand for longer. No one else has half of the amazing shared memories that made up our childhood. He's my crazy, fun, smart, one-of-a-kind little brother and I love him to death! I'm so grateful I got to grow up with him. David's presence in my wedding means the world to me and I'm honored that he would help me make this extra special day happen.
Groomsman
I met Justin really before I can remember. We grew up playing laser tag, nerf wars, and air soft (sensing a theme). After growing up a bit, we started recording music, hanging out at the park, and eventually taking our girlfriends on dates together. In other words, Justin is one of those friends who has been with me through it all and I wouldn't want it any other way. He has encouraged me spiritually, given me some key relationship advice, and been a friend when I needed it most. I was ecstatic to see him marry the love of his life and am honored that he will be there to see me marry mine!
Groomsman
Davy was one of my very first friends. No one else could have gone through scooter wheels like it was Halloween candy. We made forts, jumped on the trampoline, stayed up late playing monopoly, and attempted world records. More importantly, Davy has been a solid rock in my life always pushing me towards Christ in everything I do. I am endlessly grateful for the challenging and encouraging calls, texts, and meals we've shared through the years. His influence on my life has been vitally helpful to my relationship with Natalie and will undoubtedly be to our marriage as well.
Groomsman
Clay has been a bro since 3rd grade when foursquare and backyard football were all the rage. He's been a solid and unwavering friend through all these years, always ready to help and give advice. I've particularly enjoyed hanging out with him lately as our similar circumstances have given me a perspective of reflection. Where this season of life has so much change, it's a joy to have such a lasting and impactful friendship.
Groomsman
I got to know Kyle the best during high school. He’s one of the most genuine people I know. While our conversations tend to drift towards that serious note, our adventures definitely don’t. Some of my favorite memories with Kyle happened on our classic road trip down to the keys which he planned. Kyle and I share this mutual trading of experiences and hobbies that I quite enjoy. For instance, he took me mountain biking while I introduced him to smoked Gouda cheese. I'm excited to continue this relationship and see what sort of adventure we will find next!
Groomsman
Matt and I are cousins from twin sisters who lived 7 minutes away for 10 years. In other words, we grew up having fun together. Our favorite game is definitely ping pong, in which we sank many hours. We both enjoy talking about technology and new things we discover in school and at work. Now we are both getting married to wonderful fiancés and I couldn’t be happier for him! One of Matt's greatest traits which I hope rubs off onto me is kindness. I can't think of a time when he has ever said anything degrading to me and I know that will be so important in my future marriage.
Groomsman
Kristoff was my high school friend and my roommate for most of college. Yes, we may have quarreled about keeping the window open at night, but at the end of the day we had an amazing time. From accidentally skipping orientation to playing on the same worship team, there weren’t too many days when you wouldn’t find us together. He’s a great friend who has stood by my side through all of my wild adventures.
Groomsman
Matt is my new brother-in-law. Although I’ve only known him for a few years, they’ve been good ones. I couldn’t be happier that he married my sister and joined our family. I’m honored that he will be there as an older brother and example on my special day. Matt's unwavering leadership has been so evident in his marriage and I hope to carry what I've learned from him into my own.
