We always joke about how Taylor Swift's song "Invisible String" is the anthem of our love story. Ash and I ran into each other over and over again throughout our lives until it finally clicked. It started at Silver Creek High School, where we met in our "Introduction to Business" class. We became acquaintances and shared a few jokes, but not much more. Then, several years later, we met again at a Macy's where I was working at a makeup counter. We recognized each other from high school and got to chatting. We were both in relationships at the time, so we exchanged numbers hoping to keep in touch as friends. Years went by and the little contact we had faded, until I moved back to northern Colorado. We connected a third time through a dating app (one that I had deleted before I saw that we had matched). Ashley, still having my number from Macy's, called me and asked me to dinner. We shared a magical night of margaritas and enchiladas, and the rest is history.
