Things To Do

Greenfield Village

20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI 48124
, (313) 982-6001

This is where we met. Not only did we meet each other here, but we also met the majority of our wedding party here as well! We are so grateful to Greenfield Village for bringing us together, introducing us to our best friends, and yeah, I guess for being a cool place to learn about 300 years of American history too...

Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation

20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI 48124
, (313) 982-6001

One of the coolest museums in the area! My favorite artifacts are the Lincoln Chair, Rosa Parks bus, and the Dymaxion house. This fall, they will have a Disney costume exhibition that looks super super cool. Definitely worth checking out!

Detroit Historical Museum

5401 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202
, (313) 833-1805

We went on our first date here! It's a wonderful museum to learn about Detroit's history.

Detroit Institute of Arts

5200 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202
, (313) 833-7900

We went on our first date here! (here and the Detroit Historical Museum). The DIA is definitely a must see while in Detroit. Check out the industry murals painted by Diego Rivera in the 1930s, or take a photo outside with the Thinker!

Detroit History Tours

3103 Commor St., Hamtramck, MI 48212
, (313) 539-7377

If you are from out of town and want to learn more about the city of Detroit, look no further than Detroit History Tours! The tours are fun and educational.

For all the days along the way
