Alfredo was one of the first people that Natalie befriended when she moved to San Diego. What began as roommates simply sharing common areas in a house quickly blossomed into late-night conversations, inside jokes, and romantic adventures. Somewhere between the unspoken tension and hikes that kept getting longer and more frequent, their friendship began to deepen in a way neither of them could ignore. Alfredo became Natalie's tour guide of San Diego, and she became his tour guide of the great outdoors. Natalie brought stability and empathy to Alfredo's life while he brought spontaneity and versatility. They became each other's constant, their favorite person to come home to, and the person to conquer the world with. One trail turned into many, leading them from Anza-Borrego to the Grand Canyon and all the way out to the Philippines. With every mile, every view, and every shared challenge, they realized they didn't just love exploring. They loved exploring together. That love eventually led them to Yosemite. Standing in front of Half-Dome, surrounded by everything they had come to love about adventure and each other, Alfredo got down on one knee. They can't wait to continue building a life filled with adventure, love, and countless new memories. They're grateful to celebrate this next chapter of life with the people they care about the most.
