Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please attend in semi-formal attire. Although this wedding takes place at the start of fall, colors will better represent light and whimsical floral colors. Dress code colors include light earth tones, soft colorful floral patterns, and light, eclectic taste. We kindly ask that you avoid and harsh or dark colors such as neons, red, black, or high contrast pieces- and of course, white or ivory.

What is the venue like?

Answer

We have booked an Airbnb to host this occasion. The reception will take place on a concrete patio that is accessible from the driveway, however, the ceremony will take place amongst the 6 acres grassy/wooded area. All services will be provided as if at a typical venue with a cozy touch. A pool will be welcome to use after 10pm!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. This event will take place along one of the walking trails on the property. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow yourself time to enter and find a seat.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will state this on the invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP online. Due to the limited space, we kindly ask that if you did not receive a plus one, please respect our wishes of keeping our wedding a close and intimate event with family and friends.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is limited parking on site due to the nature of this Airbnb venue. It is highly encouraged to share a ride through Uber or Lift from your hotel. We kindly ask that the limited parking is saved for elderly, those traveling in for the day from afar, or those in need of physical accommodations.

Are children welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, this wedding is exclusively for adults with the exception of the wedding party. This decision was made with safety in mind as our venue does include a pool and in-ground trampoline. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras away during the ceremony to be present with us. Outside of the ceremony, all photos are welcome and encouraged!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be drinks available throughout the day and night. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! This is also a great reason to ride share to the event!

Yes, please dress appropriately to attend an outdoor September wedding & check the weather frequently as the day quickly approaches!
