Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! To keep our guest list manageable, we’ve given those who are currently in relationships the opportunity to bring their significant other. If you’re single but would like to bring a guest, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly—we’d be happy to discuss it with you! Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to see you on our big day!

Question

Where can I stay in Joliet on the wedding night?

Answer

We've booked a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn & Suites. See the "Travel" section of this site for details to book. We suggest booking your room early to ensure you get a room. You don't need to pay until you arrive and can cancel with at least 24 hours notice. Of course there are other hotels nearby. Under the "travel" section are listed others we visited in person that were nice near the Holiday Inn.

Question

Is there a shuttle from the Holiday Inn to the Haley Mansion?

Answer

We are providing a coach bus that seats 40 people to and from the Holiday Inn & Suites. The departure times are 3:30, 4:15 and 5:00pm, so plan accordingly. If you are arriving after 5:00pm, you will need to get an Uber or drive yourself. The coach bus will return guests from the Haley Mansion to the Holiday Inn at 10:00, 10:45 and 11:30.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! there is a parking lot connected to the Mansion to accommodate parking for everyone !

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the celebration, including the meal! Our catering team is prepared to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP so we can ensure you’re well taken care of. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to dress to impress for our special day! Think formal or cocktail attire—suits, ties, dresses, or jumpsuits are all welcome. While the ceremony will take place outdoors, the dinner and dancing will be held indoors, so you’ll only be outside for a short time. Since it’s a summer wedding, feel free to choose lighter fabrics and breathable styles to stay comfortable. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, looking fabulous!

Question

What is there to do after the reception ends?

Answer

The coach bus will return guests to the Holiday Inn where they have a bar and there is a fire pit area where you can hang out until 2am, as long as there aren't noise complaints. :)

For all the days along the way
