Question

Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. To keep the Sacred Mass sacred, no cameras or cell phones are allowed. Father will stop mass and ask you to leave if you fail to follow this request. I will have a photographer and I will share pictures after. However, cameras and phones are allowed at the reception and please share to social media.

Question

Can I take Communion if I'm not Catholic?

Answer

Only those who believe that the bread & wine have been transubstantiated into the ACTUAL presence of Christ's body, blood, soul, & Divinity, are allowed to receive Communion. All others are more then welcome to approach the alter, cross their arms over their chest to make an 'x', and receive a blessing, or remain in their pews and give praise, Thanksgiving, and prayers during this time.

Question

Will there be food at the reception?

Answer

We will be serving wedding cake, punch, and samplings of Filipino food. BYOB.

Question

Where can I stay if I come in the day before, and for the day after, the wedding?

Answer

There are a few hotels in Sherman that would love the business. My mother also has space at her house--2 rooms and lots of floor (bring air mattresses, sleeping bags, and let us know)--for family members from out of state.
