We are so excited to show off our home that we've compiled a list of "favorites" on google maps. Great restaurants, cocktail bars, and noteworthy landmarks:
Stretching 2½ miles, the Freedom Trail weaves past 16 of Boston's most historic sites. Depending on how much you love history, this can take anywhere from 2 hours to a full day. Our suggestion is to start as you normally would at the Boston Common in the afternoon, and then cut the tour short at Paul Revere's house where you can enjoy dinner in Boston's "Little Italy" neighborhood.
Natalie's favorite museum in all of Boston! Isabella was an incredible art curator and collector. The immersive rooms are carefully decorated from carpet to wallpaper and everything in between.
Nik's favorite museum! It has seals, penguins, and sharks, need we say more?
Catch a Red Sox game while in town at the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball! (Yankees fans not welcome). Pro tip, come early and grab a drink at Bleacher Bar with a view into the stadium beneath the bleachers.
At the Fenway Victory Gardens, just blocks from Fenway Park, you can take a peek at our community garden plot. Attached is a map: head to the letter "T" on the map, our personal garden plot is "U17". The Fenway Victory Gardens are the only remaining continuously-operating World War II Victory Gardens in the United States. Today the 7.5 acres holds 500 garden plots for community members in Boston. Yes, 500 plots... if you get lost call us!! :)
A major perk of the east coast, is how close you are to other amazing destinations. If you want additional recommendations for spots to hit in Boston or beyond feel free to text Nik & Nat!
