Nikki Pappanduros

Best Woman

Nikki is Natalie’s older sister and has steered the way for Natalie her entire life. Natalie used to copy everything Nikki did growing up, stole her clothes and CDs and it drove Nikki crazy. They have the same laugh, love of bluegrass music and hair twirling habit. Nikki is impressively artistic, honest, always has her sister’s back and knows how to take charge and boss people around, which makes her the perfect Best Woman! Fun Facts: • Nikki is an elementary art school teacher in Batavia. • Nikki physically can’t burp. • Nikki’s thumbs look like big toes.

Justin Kovacs

Best Man

Justin and Joe became friends at Reskin Elementary School. In high school they were inseparable, mostly because Joe had a car and Justin couldn't make it to the bus on time. Spending afternoons at Stratford Square Mall, they were Mallrats buying Metal CD’s and band shirts at Spencer’s. Justin is honest, goofy and Joe’s best friend for nearly 25 years, which is why he is the Best Man! Fun Facts: • Justin and Joe’s cat Toothless are mortal enemies. • Justin loves Joe Rogan podcasts. • Justin once presented Joe as a Show & Tell Project in High School.

Laurie Winter

Laurie and Natalie met at their current company, Presence Marketing. Laurie told Natalie they were going to be friends, and 5 years later they have dinner together every Wednesday night indulging in their shared love of wine and delicious food. Laurie is spunky, full of love and a complete Wild Card. She can (and will!) talk to anybody and is always the life of the party! Fun Facts: • While from West Chicago, Laurie grew up in Florida. • Laurie’s last name is Winter, but she hates the cold and snow. • Laurie has a deep love for 90's rap and Eminem.

Mike Soboleski

Groomsman

Mike is Joe’s younger brother. As kids they spent most days wrestling around and playing at the Sports Hub in Glendale Heights. On Sundays they'd go to church with their grandparents and watch Disney movies afterwards, they were true Grandma's-Boys. They also love watching Chicago sports teams (except the Cubs) and debating the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While seemingly different people, they share a creative-side, a witty sense of humor and giant hearts! Fun Facts: • Mike works traveling comic-con conventions on the weekends. • Mike knows where any Burger King is in the Dupage county area. • Mike enjoys sketching and is a very talented artist.

Allie Peuler

Allie and Natalie met at NIU in a Sociology class. Natalie saw Allie drawing cat doodles in her notebook and knew they had to be best friends forever. They both did AmeriCorps programs after college and love hanging out together, listening to music and doing Feminist Crafts. Allie is goofy, has a giant heart and makes everyone feel loved and special. She’s a unique soul and a wonderful best friend! Fun Facts: • Allie is from Sandwich, Illinois. • Allie plays the Ukulele. • Allie snorts when she laughs.

Peter Odegard

Groomsman

Peter and Joe met at Dawn’s Beach Hut through Justin and Joe joined his Fantasy Football League. They became fast friends bonding over the UFC and playing darts. They hang out with Justin in Downtown St. Charles, take bar games too competitively and make Gentleman’s Bets on UFC fights. Peter is high energy, has a secret sweet side, is a great conversationalist and is always fun to have around! Fun Facts: • Peter was a competitive Rock Climber. • Peter’s house is haunted (by Joe). • Peter is a certified Diamontologist.

Becky Thurnhoffer

Becky and Natalie met in High School and they both had crazy hair styles. Natalie wanted to become friends, so she snuck into Becky’s group project and left her assigned group behind. They’ve kept their bond strong through their love of records, cats, crafting and Disney Scene-It! Becky is silly, sweet and adventurous and makes everything in life a lot more fun! Fun Facts: • Becky worked at CD Trader in High School (Natalie thought that was super cool). • Becky has a tattoo of her cats on her leg. • Becky loves looking for rocks and fossils.

Shawn O'Sullivan

Shawn and Joe met in 2014 when Shawn started dating Joe’s close friend Kelly. Despite Joe’s reservations because Shawn is a Green Bay Packers Fan, a mutual respect grew and they became friends. They both love Metal music, the Chicago Blackhawks and playing Beer Pong. Shawn is a genuine, Salt of the Earth guy. Joe was a groomsmen for Shawn last fall and they made a great pair having each other’s backs! Fun Facts: • Shawn hates wearing shirts with sleeves. • Shawn is really good at playing Madden. • Shawn is a fantastic cook and loves to grill.

Miranda Pappanduros

Miranda is Natalie’s Sister-In-Law. From the day Nicholas brought Miranda to meet the family, Natalie knew Miranda was the perfect fit for him and their family. Her and Natalie are equally obsessed with cats, coffee and Social Justice. While Miranda may be quiet and introverted, she’s incredibly thoughtful, kind-hearted and quick witted. She will do anything for those she loves and is an amazing second-sister! Fun Facts: • Miranda is from Canada. • Miranda loves whales! • Miranda is a big Toronto Blue Jays fan, she loves baseball but hates hockey.

Michael Miller

Michael and Joe are cousins. His nickname is “Big Mike” to not confuse him with Joe’s brother Mike. Joe and Mike spent Christmases together and were spoiled by their loving Grandparents. They both enjoy video games and Star Wars! Mike is reserved but he’s sweet and his dry sense of humor keeps everyone laughing. Joe had the honor of standing up in Michael’s wedding last fall and he’s honored to have him stand up in his! Fun Facts: • Michael is a fan of Pirate Metal (Yes, that is a thing). • Michael’s first date with his now wife was seeing a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. • Michael just purchased his first home in Carol Stream.
