One of our favorite cafés in Carbondale! Nearly every item on the all-vegetarian menu is locally-sourced, handmade, and absolutely delicious.

Longbranch Cafe & Bakery

The best barbecue in Southern Illinois! Featured on Food Network and the Travel Channel, their ribs are the best we've had.

17th Street Barbecue

Our favorite pizza in Carbondale! We recommend the deep pan Bianca Quatro's for a garlic and cheese-loving vegetarian, and the Quatro's Challenge for anyone who wants all of the toppings!

A nice hike along one of the many trails at Giant City Park will get your blood pumping! Stop by the Lodge for some tasty all-you-can-eat fried chicken or to see where they filmed parts of Gone Girl!
