Malibu probably does not need much explanation. If beautiful weather and relaxing times on the beach are what you're looking for, then head on down to Malibu! It's only about a 40 minute drive from the Courtyard Marriott in Simi Valley. If sushi is your thing, we hear that Nobu is a life-changing experience. https://goo.gl/maps/Tt113edWEt4Z6phq6 There is also some good hiking here. We recommend checking out Escondido Falls! https://goo.gl/maps/FcAdZp3M5JXAwvJ66
If you want the true Natalie and Jonathan experience and don't mind a longer drive, then come on over to our neighborhood--Silverlake! If you want to experience a day in the life of...us, then shoot us a message (or call us) ahead of time and we can give you a whole list of amazing things to do. After all, this is where we spend most of our time so we have all the "deets". Expect great food, shopping, and lots of unique/artsy outdoor staircases (it's a Silverlake thing).

The go-to Jewish deli in Los Angeles. If you are craving pastrami sandwiches and matzo ball soup, head here for a bite. Highly recommended by all in the Newman family!
Supposedly an excellent breakfast option in Simi Valley.
