Simi Valley Annual Street Fair
Malibu
Malibu probably does not need much explanation. If beautiful weather and relaxing times on the beach are what you're looking for, then head on down to Malibu! It's only about a 40 minute drive from the Courtyard Marriott in Simi Valley. Silver Lake
If you want the true Natalie and Jonathan experience and don't mind a longer drive, then come on over to our neighborhood--Silverlake! If you want to experience a day in the life of...us, then shoot us a message (or call us) ahead of time and we can give you a whole list of amazing things to do. After all, this is where we spend most of our time so we have all the "deets". Expect great food, shopping, and lots of unique/artsy outdoor staircases (it's a Silverlake thing).
Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica pier is one of the most iconic landmarks in Los Angeles. Also, Natalie grew up in Santa Monica and frequently visited this beach. It continues to hold a special place in her heart.
Rockin' Kids Play Center Simi Valley
For those bringing young ones: This indoor playground offers open play seven days a week. The center is a large facility geared towards toddlers to age 7. Socks are required in all play areas. There is a nice assortment of climbing areas, slides, ball pit, swings, riding toys and other safe, padded options. Free admission to parent/caregiver.
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library
We actually have never been here, but it is on our todo list. It is one of the main landmarks in Simi Valley, and seems like a good time if you are interested in US history. Tickets are $30/adult.
Brent's Deli Northridge
The go-to Jewish deli in Los Angeles. If you are craving pastrami sandwiches and matzo ball soup, head here for a bite. Highly recommended by all in the Newman family!
The Hat
This is the most recommended place to grab a bite in Simi Valley.
The Egg House
Supposedly an excellent breakfast option in Simi Valley.
