What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. Ladies can wear gowns or formal pantsuits. Gentlemen should wear tuxes. We'd can't wait to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and involve walking on the grass (so ladies please plan your footwear accordingly). The reception will be indoors.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly invite only. We'll only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation which will be sent in the following months and noted in the RSVP portal.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. If you'd like photos of the ceremony, we'd be happy to share photos from our photographer, so let us know!

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will be providing transportation for the wedding ceremony and reception. The shuttle will run round trip from the Loews (where our room block is) to the Nelson Atkins. Uber and lyft are both also available options, and parking is available at the Nelson Atkins if you prefer driving yourself.
