Natalie and Antonio met waiting for an elevator in the USX building in downtown Pittsburgh. Having worked on the same floor of the building, they had seen each other in passing, but had never spoken before that day. Seeing that he was wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins polo shirt, Natalie asked him if he was a fan, and the conversation continued from there. They began saying hello to each other in the hallways, conversing here and there, until Antonio asked Natalie if she would like to hang out sometime. Natalie suggested grabbing coffee (not knowing at the time that Antonio does not DRINK coffee) and Antonio gladly agreed. The rest is history. They've shared many adventures, attended even more Penguins games, traveled to different countries, supported each other through several personal highs and lows, and dated through a global pandemic. Now, they are tying the knot. One of the main things that bonded them together over the years was their extreme love and appreciation for their family and friends. As such, they absolutely cannot wait to celebrate their big day with all of you!!
Anyone who knows Antonio knows that he is extremely generous with his time and willing to put his skills to good use assisting with house projects for his friends and family. Over the years, Antonio has completed many such projects at Natalie's condo, from ripping out countertops to installing baseboards, and everything in between. Antonio was working on one of these projects on the evening of October 30th when he asked Natalie to grab painter's tape out of his tool bag for him. When Natalie reached for the tape, she realized that there was a small box taped to the inside of the roll. By the time she realized what was in the box and opened it, Antonio was kneeling in front of her, ready to propose. As it turns out, after completing the proposal, Antonio actually DID need to use the tape to finish the project. ;)
