Natali and Rj meet in high school. they were on the same dance team and have many friends in common. Although they knew each other, they did not start dating until 2015.

RJ and Natali spoke for about 3 months before they started to date. RJ asked her out by writing her a letter explaining to her what he liked about her. At the end of the letter, the line asked, "will you be my girlfriend?". He also gifted her chocolate along with the letter.

RJ planned a Date Night with Natali downtown. He then took her home and waiting at home was a pathway of candlelight to the gazebo. Inside the lit gazebo were photos of the two of them reminding them of their past years together. RJ then told Natali how much she means to him and how she has made him better. He then got down on one knee and asked her "Will you Marry Me?" to which she said "YES!". Her parents and close friends were there to celebrate with them.
