FAQs

Question

What is the general dress code?

Answer

We please ask for a formal dress code because the ceremony takes place inside a Catholic church, the vibe is elegant, traditional, and deeply respectful. Think beautiful floor-length gowns, midi dresses, and sharp suits or tuxedos. Keep in mind that modesty is key out of respect for the church, if your dress is strapless, spaghetti-strap, or has a deep plunge please bring a shawl, pashmina, or blazer to cover your shoulders during the mass.

Question

How should I dress for the weather in Saltillo?

Answer

Saltillo is located in a high-altitude valley, meaning the weather requires some planning: - Daytime Sun: If there is an outdoor afternoon ceremony or a cocktail hour in a hacienda courtyard, the sun can be quite strong and hot. - Nighttime Drop: Saltillo is famous for its sudden temperature drops once the sun goes down. Even in the spring and summer, evenings get crisp. In late autumn and winter, it can get downright cold. We suggest to bring an elegant wrap, pashmina, or shawl.

Answer

While the resort and most major restaurants accept credit cards and US Dollars, it’s always a good idea to have some Pesos on hand for small vendors, tipping, and local taxis. You can usually get the best exchange rate by using an ATM at the airport or resort. Tip: Don't forget to notify your bank and credit card companies about your travel plans so they don't freeze your cards!
