Think beautiful floor-length gowns, midi dresses, and sharp suits or tuxedos. Keep in mind that modesty is key out of respect for the church, if your dress is strapless, spaghetti-strap, or has a deep plunge please bring a shawl, pashmina, or blazer to cover your shoulders during the mass.
Saltillo is located in a high-altitude valley, meaning the weather requires some planning: - Daytime Sun: If there is an outdoor afternoon ceremony or a cocktail hour in a hacienda courtyard, the sun can be quite strong and hot. - Nighttime Drop: Saltillo is famous for its sudden temperature drops once the sun goes down. Even in the spring and summer, evenings get crisp. In late autumn and winter, it can get downright cold. We suggest to bring an elegant wrap, pashmina, or shawl.
