We encourage you to visit Wroclaw's "Old Town" and experience the charming city market with great restaurants to choose from. One of the most unique and fun things to do in the Old Town is hunt for the city’s famous dwarf statues. These small figures are scattered around the city, and there are over 400 of them! They’ve become a symbol of Wrocław and are a quirky way to explore the town.
With a quick 3 hour train from Wroclaw, you will arrive in one of Matt and I's favorite cities in Poland. Kraków is one of Poland's most charming and historically rich cities. The historic "old town" is filled with lively market squares and it's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the perfect place for a leisurely walk. The Wawel castle is a quick walk from the old town and offers breathtaking views of the city. For those interested in history, we recommend visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, as it's a short trip from Krakow. The museum offers extensive exhibits, preserved buildings, and historical artifacts that provide a powerful educational experience. It helps visitors understand the scale of human suffering, the brutality of the Holocaust, and the resilience of those who survived. Visiting the site allows visitors to pay their respects to those who lost their lives there.
