The two met at Harrison Bay State Park,TN. For hours they talked as they walked around the park. The journey began with many outdoor adventures including canoeing, hiking, kayaking, etc. At first, the time spent was thought of as platonic, until one day Luke put his arm around Natalia. It all went downhill from there. And to think, she had to make the decision of either meeting Luke or getting free Mexican food with her siblings!
Luke asked Natalia to go on a short walk before the family Thanksgiving meal. The short walk turned into a decent hike to the quarry at Greenway Farms. The two sat on a rock by the edge of the water, then proceeded to the overlook of the quarry in which both times Luke attempted to get on one knee but some kids kept showing up. Eventually they went up a trail and found some wooden benches to rest. Before continuing on the walk, Luke pulled out a white case to give as a gift from his grandmother. As he spoke about it, he opened it to reveal the ring and in that moment, life paused as he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
