Best Man
Lucas and I have been in each other's lives since we were toddlers - we first met at swimming class, later went on to become neighbors and have been best friends since. Lu has always been there - from tea time in my driveway when we were 7, to going all the way to São Paulo when I got into University and spending the night so I wouldn't be alone. It took about me about one second to decide that Lu would be my Best Man, as no one else could ever fill the shoes of this kind, loving brother that life gave me. Gregory and I are both so lucky to have Lucas in our lives and honored to have him hold this special position in our Wedding. -Natália
Best Man
George, being my older brother of 8 years, taught me almost everything I know. Whether it was learning how to kiss a girl for the first time, skateboarding, or having a better sense of style to therefore have the opportunity to kiss a girl in the first place, it was all George. As we grew older and then moved to the West Coast, we became even closer as friends. We "learned" how to surf together, we pick from each other's herb gardens (we're neighbors), go to concerts together, watch the same shows, and even worked at the same company (to be clear, he hired me, I didn't hire him, ha!). George will continue to help me understand life as I live it with Natália by my side, so naturally, I had to ask him to be my Best Man! -Gregory
Officiant
When Natália was about to meet Gregory's family in Denver for the first time, some 5,700 miles away from her hometown in Brazil, she could never have imagined that her future father-in-law would not only know so much about her culture, but also had been to the country and even spoke Portuguese! It matters so much to us that most of our families will meet for the first time at our wedding, and we wanted to make sure we could bring our cultures together at the ceremony. No one could be better suited to deliver this special order than George and we are honored to have him officiate our wedding!
