Chacewater Winery & Olive Mill

WINERY: If you're driving from the Sacramento Airport this is the first thing you'll see before you enter Lake County. If they're open its worth a visit for a bathroom break, some local wine, and a cute little shop.

Cache Creek Vineyards

HIKING: If you're ultra-adventurous and non-asthmatic, this three-mile uphill hike to the top of our local volcano might be the most exciting thing for you!

Mount Konocti

HIKING: For milder hikes and just as beautiful scenery near the lake, this is the place to go. Park along Soda Bay Road to avoid parking fees.

Clear Lake State Park

BEER: Best local beer! Super cute place surrounded by other cute shops on Main Street Kelseyville. Sometimes there's live music!

Kelsey Creek Brewing

BEER: We went here on our first date! Flights of beers and tasty tacos. If you're looking to copy our first date, go across the street to the Vista Point off the highway for a stellar view over the lake. Hard to beat, really.

O'Meara Bros. Brewing Company

FOOD: Restaurant/Bar but also the local airport...you might see some planes take off or land

Red's At The Skyroom

FOOD AND FUN: Its a little cooler if you drive up Cobb Mountain. Even if you aren't into golfing, the food and drinks here are great and the ambiance is hard to beat. Bring some cards or a good book and hang out.

Adams Springs Golf Course

WINE AND FUN: Adults can taste wine with a 360 degree view of Lake County while kids hunt for their own Lake County Diamonds to take home as a treasure!
