Alex was saying for a while he wanted to take me to see the Christmas lights at Moody Gardens. He also booked a nice resort in Galveston so we would spend the night there. We arrived at the resort in the afternoon and when sun came down, we went to Moody Gardens. After just a few minutes of us start seeing the Christmas lights, I asked him to take a picture. He said sure, but sounded a little nervous and was searching for the perfect spot, I thought that was weird of him.. Then he grabs something on his pocket, gets down on one knee and says: "Natalia, you are one in a Brazilian.." and proceed to asking me to marry him. I was absolutely happy and surprised, I didn't expect at all he would do that day. I said: "Really??? You're doing this??" and he said "Yes, say yes so I can stand up". Then I yelled: "YESSS OF COURSE". After that I was so happy I didn't even pay attention to the Christmas lights anymore. We came back to the hotel and stayed at the pool hanging out and celebrating our engagement. It was an amazing day.
