Question

Do I need to Quarentine when I arrive to Colombia?

Answer

You will not need to quarantine.

Question

Do I need a negative PCR/Antigen COVID test to travel into Colombia?

Answer

As of June 2021, Colombia does not have this requirement any longer.

Question

Do I need a negative COVID test to enter USA?

Answer

Yes! USA requires all international travelers, including vaccinated American citizens to have a negative COVID test. It does not have to be a PCR test, a rapid test is permitted. Tests should be taken no more than 3 days before their flight departs. Jose Maria Cordova International Airport conducts Rapid tests that give you results in 20-40 minutes and are available 24/7. This has a cost of $95.000 pesos ( around $30 US). They are located in Parking Lot #4. If you choose this option, we suggest arriving 3.5 hours earlier than your flight as they do not take appointments just walk-in service. Another option is to schedule a rapid test at a nearby clinic, Synlab. 7-minute Taxi Drive from the Hotel Novotel. You can schedule your test straight from their website. There is a self-scheduling option on the link below *choose POBLADO location* If you need help scheduling text us at (201) 815 - 7233. https://www.synlab.co/travellers-covid-19/

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please advise us of your food allergies and needs when you RSVP.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Details will be provided to all guests.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. Medellin fashion has a lot of prints, mostly floral ones, feel free to have this inspire you!

Question

Will there be sanitizing stations?

Answer

Yes! Hand Sanitizers will be around the whole venue and masks will be available.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It is a mix of both! The great thing about our venue is that it has glass doors that can be left open or closed. We plan on leaving them open for extra circulation but this is only an option until 9:30 PM. After that the venue will be closed due to sound regulations in the area.

Question

If my date can't come, can I bring someone else?

Answer

If your date is not able to attend please notify us when you RSVP. We will prefer to be familiar with all of our guests as this is an inmate day for us. Thank You.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

What is the currency in Colombia?

Answer

The local currency is the Colombian Peso (COP). Bank notes come in denominations from 1,000 to 100,000 pesos. Coins are available in 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 pesos. It is strongly recommended to use the exact change, US dollars and Euros are rarely used, except for tourist oriented stores. Since the dollar is very strong in Colombia, the exchange rate greatly benefits Americans. We recommend taking exchanging Dollars prior to traveling and using an ATM when in need of more. Credit/debit cards can also be used in most restaurants and stores, we recommend using your credit/debit cards as the exchange rate is highest this way. You will still need to have cash for smaller transactions and transactions with small businesses.
