U.S. National Whitewater Center
Every Saturday in the summer through September the U.S National White Water center puts on an event called River Jam. This includes a live band, food & music, and a fun outdoor atmosphere. The final River Jam of the season is Saturday, September 29th, the eve of our wedding!
Birkdale Village
For those staying in the Huntersville area on our wedding weekend, Birkdale Village is a great place to shop and is full of great restaurant options.
Shoppes At University Place
For those staying in Charlotte, the Shoppes at University Place has a pond with walking trails, food, and dessert options. This area was a favorite of mine while in graduate school!
