Welcome to our little corner of the internet where we are thrilled to share the story of our love. It all began with a serendipitous encounter on the dating app Hinge (cliché, we know) in April 2020. It was just the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we were both living with our families in Connecticut. After hitting it off, we had a strictly online relationship, including a 5 hour first phone call. Eventually, we braved the outside world and met up for a few 6-feet-apart outdoor dates. We had a very Regency Era courtship filled with strolls in nature, long conversations, and, of course, no touching (or coming within 6 feet of one another). Lee even gave Natalie his signature scent, Edition Le Labo lotion, so that she could feel closer to him and still keep her distance. When Lee moved back to NYC and Natalie moved to Boston, we knew we had something special, so we committed to an almost 3-year long distance relationship filled with adventures exploring each other’s cities, and in the process, falling in love. Natalie knew Lee was a keeper when he voluntarily (and even enthusiastically) watched and read all her favorite romance movies, TV shows and books. Lee knew early on he was in love with Natalie's caring personality, as she secretly tracked all of the foods that hurt his IBS-ridden stomach and always supported his differing passions. Lee was so charmed that he couldn't resist spoiling her with original love songs, handmade gifts, and endless home cooked meals. We are so excited that we now get to embark on the adventures of life together like moving in, getting our dog Bruni, and of course, why you’re all here reading this…getting married!
