The wedding ceremony will be approximately 15-20 minutes, with photos to follow with our guests until 4:00 p.m. Please do not be late to the ceremony as we have limited time at Nalo Gardens for the ceremony and photographs! :)
Since we are having a destination wedding, we understand that it is going to take time and money for travel. Although we would love for everybody to celebrate our special day (and trip) with us, we know that it will not be realistic. We just ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to attend the ceremony and reception dinner. There is no date to give us an answer by, but the sooner the better as we have to notify the venues of the guest count.
The ceremony will be rain or shine! If rain is in the forecast for our special day, please bring an umbrella. Hawaii rain can be refreshing with the tropical weather! :)
Obviously, the wedding is the main event, but Hawaii has so many great things to do, see, and eat! We will be planning a few activities that we would love for our guests to be part of. On Friday March 21, we booked a private catamaran for our guests to sail and snorkel from 1:30- 4:30 pm. Information about the catamaran is located on the "Schedule" tab. On Friday night, we plan to go to a nightclub to make up for there being no dancing on the wedding day! :D On Saturday March 22, we plan on golfing. More information to come about the golf day once the date gets closer. However, do not feel obligated to join us if you are not interested in the activity. We want this to be a vacation for our guests as well, so please feel free make the most of your time in Oahu with and without us! :)
Please let one of us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions. We are creating a pre-set menu for the dinner reception and can accommodate any special requests if given notice.
Ah, the main question. There will be a bar at the Kapua Lounge during the reception dinner. Yes, it will be an open bar. Well, on Jason's tab. :D
