Joey’s story It all began in 2016 when Vanessa’s brothers moved in right across the street from me. That very first night, she came over while they were making chili dogs. The moment she walked through the door, I knew she was special. I was shy, clumsy (I even spilled food on myself that night), and her brothers never let me forget it — but I couldn’t stop thinking about her.
