Gundlach Bundschu is a 7 minute drive from Sonoma's quaint & historic downtown square. There are LOTS of cute options to stay including a bunch of bed and breakfasts, small hotels and rentals through airbnb. However, this area doesn't have the standard hotels like a Sheraton, Hilton, etc within a 30 minute drive. We thought that everyone would have a more enjoyable weekend to staying in quintessential wine country than 30 away in a less quaint setting. We're sending these invitations early so guests can book everything well in advance and won't face any availability issues! See the "travel" page for recommendations on where to book.
Yes, once our guests book their lodgings (which I suggest they do early) we will arrange for a shuttle pickup route around the lodgings in downtown Sonoma! We will gather this information from our guests about 6 weeks before the wedding and will send out an email to our guests with the details! We will provide transportation to and from the event so everyone can enjoy the wine!
Gundlach Bundschu doesn't have a liquor license so we will also be providing our guests with a variety of beer to suite everyones tastes.
