Getting to Lake Como
Lake Como is a quick ~40 minute train or car ride from Milan. If you’re going to Lake Como straight from Malpensa International Airport: Take the train to Como San Giovanni station from Terminal 1 Malpensa Express Train Station. Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket machines. From Milan center, you can take the train from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni.

Once you arrive in Como, you can head to Lenno or Tremezzo, depending on when you’re staying, through bus, ferry or car. Bus: Take the C110 bus to Lenno / Tremezzo Ferry/Boat: From Como Lago (pier) to Lenno / Tremezzo pier Car/Private Transfer: Direct from wherever in Como → Lenno by road.

Booking Your Flights We recommend for you to travel into Malpensa International Airport (MXP). Recommended Travel Dates Arrive in Milan/Lake Como on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 or no later than the morning of Friday, July 24th, 2026. Passport and Visa Information Passport Validity: Ensure your passport has at least six months of validity beyond your travel dates and includes blank pages. Visa Requirements: For U.S. citizens and most Western nationals, a visa is not required for stays of less than 30 days. Guests traveling from Indonesia will need to apply for the Schengen visa to enter Italy. We recommend to apply around ~3 months prior to departure date.
