- HOMBRES: Vestimenta semiformal o formal * RECOMENDACIÓN PARA CLIMAS DE CALOR Guayabera o estilos formales caribeños con telas ligeras y lino (No se permiten camisas estampadas). - MUJERES: Vestido formal hasta el suelo o a media pierna NOTA: No se permite el uso de blanco ni beige para mujeres / No se permiten vestidos de algodon o semi-formales. - MEN: What should I wear? Semi-formal, festive, Guayabera, or formal dress Cartagena enjoys a tropical, humid climate, so for the wedding, we recommend wearing light fabrics and colors. Colombian wedding tradition dictates that men wear a “guayabera” white shirt paired with khaki pants. Woman: Feel free to wear a long or cocktail dress. (No white or beige, please) Make sure you feel comfortable to enjoy the event!

Transporte en Cartagena / Transportation in Cartagena

Para moverse por Cartagena, recomendamos usar taxis o Uber. Ambas opciones son seguras y fáciles de encontrar. Si eligen tomar un taxi, recuerden que no hay taxímetro, por lo que es importante acordar el precio antes de iniciar el viaje. Normalmente se puede negociar un poco, y los conductores están acostumbrados a ello. Solo se puede pagar en efectivo. Para que tengan una referencia: Aeropuerto → Ciudad Amurallada: suele costar entre $15.000 y $25.000 COP. Aeropuerto → Bocagrande: generalmente entre $20.000 y $30.000 COP. Uber puede variar según la demanda, pero normalmente los precios son similares o ligeramente más bajos. To get around Cartagena, we recommend using taxis or Uber. Both options are safe and easy to find. If you choose to take a taxi, keep in mind that there is no meter, so it’s important to agree on the fare before starting the ride.
