Austin and Amy were willfully collided at a Halloween bash with our close friends. He was the brightest orange Dragon Ball Z character and she was an understated orange pumpkin. Together these oranges camouflaged as one as they talked the night away (This is a lie, everyone was watching and being nosey). But this didn’t stop them from having a great night together and get to know one another. They had their first date at the Brooklyn Firefly in Bayridge, Brooklyn. And just like the twinkling lights and the romantic buzz of live music in the room they knew that this was the beginning of a great love. Austin ate his fair share of the delicious Italian food while Amy nervously had a glass of wine and a few bites (Nothing new to report there!). The rest of their story flickered in the night sky just like fireflies. We can’t wait to have our families and closest friends share in what will be the most cherished day of our lives. We will be saying “I do” on the beach, our favorite place, just like we’ve always wanted. Thank you for being a part of our day!
While we have decided to have a smaller, more intimate wedding, we understand if you have health and safety concerns about attending our wedding. We have chosen a venue that has capabilities for partial air flow with windows that open to the ocean breeze. However, we encourage all of our guests to strongly consider vaccinations, not just for us, but for their health and well-being. If you would like to partake and feel more comfortable wearing a mask then please do so! We want you to feel all the feels without being nervous. If this type of event is not in the cards for you, we truly and fully understand and appreciate your honesty. We would love to have you with us, but if we cannot, we are looking forward to sharing our photos and have you take part in our special day virtually! Love & Light Always
