We're Locked In!!!

We meet on a dating site that was popular back in 2015. I wasn't into dating sites but with some convincing from my co-workers/work family and for shits and giggles I downloaded the dating site.......POF (Plenty Of Fish) I know...... It turned out to be overwhelming and anxiety filled like I imagined. The week that I had the app was funny and chaotic all at the same time. Stephen stood out because he sent me a calm and relatable message that simply said Hi, How are you? It was simple but so calming compared to other messages. That's it! That's how we got acquainted with each other. We quickly realized we lived pretty much in the same area. We were both into working out at that time. I think that's why the app paired us as a good fit to get to know each other. I thought he was handsome too from his pictures he used in his profile. He didn't appear to be a nut case. lol Stephen was attracted to me from my profile pictures as well. We talked on the app for maybe 2 days and than we exchanged phone numbers because I was ready to delete the app. I had had enough. We talked on the phone almost everyday. We realize we hung out at the same places like Sam's bar and lounge and Salsa Con Fuego the Bronx popular hangouts but we never cross paths to meet. We decided to meet in person at the local Applebee's hang out on Fordham Road in the Bronx. He already felt familiar to me when we actually met in person. We formed a friendship first. We did a lot of hanging out after work in front of my building talking and just enjoying each others company. Our first date date we went to Ridge Hill in Yonkers and we had dinner at the Cabana which is a Cuban restaurant. Stephen had steak and grilled chicken and I believe I had Salmon & Shrimp Kabobs. I remember this day because Straight Out Of Compton was in theaters and I had free tickets. We went to go watch the movie after dinner. It was a lot of in between things that went on with us. However, during the pandemic is when we really locked in. We spent a lot of time together. We traveled every where possible during that time. we spent lots of time meeting and introducing our long distance family and friends to one another. Everyone was welcoming to us from both families. Our journey together has been fun and loving.
