Our Story
The Story of Us
We first met in high school — Jordan was the guy in front of me in health class, passionately debating music at 8 a.m., while I sat there wondering, Who is this guy, and how is he this awake?
Years later, during junior year, he posted a Snapchat about loving In-N-Out, and I figured now was my chance to strike a conversation with him. After months of chatting, he asked me on our first date.
What he didn’t know? It was my very first date. I was so nervous I almost didn’t go. Meanwhile, Jordan was already at the LA County Fair, thinking he’d been stood up. Luckily, I showed up—and we had the best time. We laughed, we talked, we shared awkward moments, and by the end of the night, I knew I wanted to see him again. The next day, on 9.11.2016, he asked me to be his girlfriend.
After eight amazing years together, Jordan proposed on Diamond Avenue in Balboa Island, one of our favorite places on 10.16.2024.
The next chapter begins — together, as The Clarks.
