Wedding Party

Meet some of our favorite people who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Meghan Shearer

Matron of Honor

Meghan is my older cousin. From sleepovers to getting in trouble with home projects, Meghan has always been more like a big sister to me. Meghan is the kind of person who will always take care of you, listen to you and make you feel loved. She’s an amazing mom to four of the sweetest kids, and it’s been so much fun to watch them grow up.

Nicole Slickers

Maid of Honor

I’m my best self when I’m around Nicole. We met my freshman year of college, had a night of frolicking and the rest is history. It does not take much for Nicole and I to reach a point where we are laughing until our stomachs hurt. She always knows the right things to say, even when I don’t want to hear them. Anyone who has a friend like Nicole is one of the luckiest people in the world. She’s my best friend and it means the world to me to have Nicole standing by my side.

Katie Walkowiak

Bridesmaid

My cousin Katie is the most loving bully you will ever meet. Just kidding — I love Katie with my whole heart. She is protective, loving and always makes me feel lucky to have her in my life. We always have such a good time whenever we’re together. Katie and I can spend hours on the phone and somehow never run out of things to talk about. There is a strong possibility you will see Katie break out in a choreographed dance at the wedding!

Jessica Wanner

Bridesmaid

I’ve always looked up to my older cousin Jess as a role model. She’s so down to Earth and is an amazing mother and all-around person. Jess always shows up for the people in her life and is always positive to be around. I am thankful to have a great friend and cousin all in one.

Lauren Nash

Bridesmaid

Lauren is my future sister-in-law. I can genuinely say that I am not sure what I would do without her. When I’m with Lauren, I can easily be myself, vent about life and know that she will always have my back. Our best nights together involve a bottle of wine, lots of laughs, crafting and watching Odin and Zayd wreak havoc. It’s been amazing to watch her become a mother, and Tom and I are so grateful to be godparents to her baby, James.

Justyce Hueber

Bridesmaid

My college friend and now neighbor — Justyce and I are the true definition of “there are 2 types of girls” (just ask to see the Halloween picture when I was Barnacle Boy). I could not imagine my life without Justyce. We love finding excuses to see each other weekly, even if it’s just to sit on the couch and talk. Justyce is the kind of friend who is more like family. I will always be grateful for her love and support over the years. From nights at the clubs to wine nights at home, she is one of the greatest people I have ever met.

Katie Santoro

Bridesmaid

Katie is Tom’s older sister, and if I were to describe what I wanted in a sister, it would be Katie. She’s so outgoing, energetic and she brings the fun wherever she goes. I am guaranteed to have an amazing time whenever we are together. One of my favorite memories with Katie involved wedding dresses, a cute beer garden and seeing Katie’s foot under my bathroom stall (go ahead and ask questions about this day- it was a blast). Katie is both strong and resilient. She stays positive and smiling through all of life’s challenges. Katie truly deserves all the good things that come her way and I can’t wait to call her my sister-in-law.

Emily Nash

Bridesmaid

Emily is Tom’s cousin and let’s be honest, I am obsessed with her. From the moment I met her, I knew that we would be really close. Emily knows how to keep me laughing and put a smile on my face. Her laugh is also one of the most contagious I’ve ever been around. She’s got one of the kindest hearts and I cannot wait to call her family.

Mary-Susan Moyer

Bridesmaid

One of my first friends and best friends. Mary moved into my neighborhood before we started elementary school. She is one friend who has been by my side through every phase of my life (just ask her about the year I tried to be a cheerleader). We have a million and one memories that I will always cherish. Mary is always down to do something fun, and I know that at the end of it, we’ll more than likely both end up napping on the couch.

Madison Hakun

Bridesmaid

Maddie and I met in elementary school. We played both travel and high school lacrosse together. Maddie is hands down one of my favorite people in the entire world. She’s truly one of the most genuine, caring people I’ve ever met. We went from getting in trouble for having drinks around the campfire to sipping coffee while hanging out with her daughters and I would not change any of it for the world. I consider Maddie a soulmate — when we are together, everything just feels right.

Jamie Nash

Best Man

There are a million and one things I could say here. Jim’s been my best friend since I could first tie my shoes — which he likes to remind me took me up until about 5th grade to master. From bunkbeds growing up to 90s hits power hours and inside jokes today, Jamie and I speak our own language. He’s the best big brother I could ask for and someone who I have looked up(!!) to from day one. I can only imagine the payback that’s in store with his best man speech.

Jack Nash

Groomsman

One of the most genuine, caring and fun-loving people you will ever meet. My ‘Irish Cousin’ (my mom’s sister married my dad’s brother), Jack has been by my side for some of the best times of my life. He’s got a knack for making you feel like the most important person in the room and will always put others before himself (except when waiting in line at an Eagles game). Jack’s also got the best head of hair of any male in the Nash family.

Matt Storti

Groomsman

Matt is one of the most kind-spirited, good people I have ever met. From day one, he’s been more than welcoming and friendly to the goofball dating his little sister, even though I have a tendency to get on him about his Cowboys fandom. We’ve spent plenty of nights talking sports and video games. I also still have yet to hit him with a car question that he didn’t have an answer to. I’m very much looking forward to calling Matt family.

Nick Santoro

Groomsman

From the moment I met Nick, I knew that he had my back… but most importantly, he had my big sister’s back. A Purple Heart recipient after serving with the Marine Corps in Haiti and Iraq, Nick is typically the toughest guy in the room. But don’t be intimidated — he’s also got the kindest heart (when he has a full stomach, of course). When I’m with Nick, I know there will be plenty of laughs, good times, drinks and food. What more could a brother-in-law ask for?

Connor Walsh

Groomsman

Outside of family, Connor is the first friend I ever made. We were next-door neighbors for 6 years growing up and went to school together for 12. I’ve got so many great memories with Connor from running along the fence with Bailey, Tim’s “Goin’ to school, goin’ to school” in the car and even our days of St. Peter basketball. He’s always good for a laugh, even from far away. Although he mostly roots for bad pro teams, the guy is a fountain of sports knowledge and I’m pretty sure he’s never missed the playoffs in a fantasy league. In any sport. Like ever.

Gary Gristick

Groomsman

Gary was the first friend I made in college — shoutout Summer Start — and he’s been a lifelong friend ever since. Some of my favorite memories from college start with Gary and I hatching up something stupid then laughing about it hours later. He’s one of the most fun-loving and outgoing people I’ve ever been around and he brings out the fun side of everyone in his presence. If you sit with Gary for five minutes during the wedding, I guarantee he’ll make you laugh. No pressure, Gary.

Steve Walkowiak

Groomsman

This all sort of starts with Steve. During college, I introduced Steve to the girl who eventually became his wife, Katie. And a few years later, the two of them introduced me to Katie’s cousin, Amanda. I guess the rest is history. Steve’s a deputy sheriff in Georgia and someone I’m really proud to call a friend. Although he’s the furthest away, he’s the one who keeps our college friend group in touch just about every day. Every time we get together, we pick up right where we left off and spend most of the time laughing and reminiscing. We’ll be going from college roommates to cousin-in-laws. Who’d have thought?

Ryan Springborn

Groomsman

My friendship with Ryan was put to the test when the Eagles smoked his Vikings in the NFC Championship back in 2017. And then when the Birds won the Super Bowl in Minnesota’s brand new stadium? Phew, I’m lucky this guy still speaks to me. But in all seriousness, Ryan has been one of the best friends I could ask for. From late nights in college to even later nights in the 2K Neighborhood and one all-night drive to South Carolina, I’ve got so many fun memories with Springbean. He’s always down for a great time, and a friend I know I can always count on. He’ll always be Mr. KU as far as I’m concerned.

Kyle Youtz

Groomsman

I have always looked at Youtz as the older brother in our college friend group. The 'Been There, Done That' guy. Youtz is a guy that I know I can always go to and count on — whether it be talking me off the ledge about the Eagles or when I’m looking for a good IPA recommendation (plot twist: There’s no such thing). Kyle’s always been cool, calm and collected and he’s one of the most loyal friends I’ve ever had.

James Nash

Mini Best Man

Our godson James Nash IV was born just a few months ago, and it's already hard to imagine what life was like before he got here. He's the cutest and happiest little guy in the world, and lights up every room he's carried in to... even if he's just taking a nap. We can't wait to have him be part of our big day.
