As many do these days, Nikki and Nash met online. After trudging through the trenches both were pleasantly surprised to find that the other was in fact normal. Of particular note was that Nash actually wore pants. As the months went on, these two grew closer together finding more and more in common and that while fairly "normal", they both had their quirks which the other found endearing. Then came their first trial when Nash was chosen for an internship in New York. Despite the distance and amount of time this internship would take from Nash, Nikki endured and visited him regularly. While for many such a distance would have proven a deal breaker, the effort to stay connected only made their bond stronger. Alas COVID hit the US and Nash returned to Washington. After being forced to spend day and night with one another, they decided that they in fact didn't hate each other and this opened up the new bond of family as they welcomed their first son River in 2022. River turned out to be a wonderful (albeit trying at times) addition to the family and despite the trials that a child would bring, Nikki and Nash forgot all about them and decided to welcome a second son Leo in 2024. So with two children and a new house, Nikki and Nash decided that they must really like each other (one might even say love) and so chose to make another major adult decision and get married. It is their great honor to invite you to join them in this next step of their lives.
