THE PILCHUCK TREE FARM.....

....@ Victoria Tract

The Pilchuck Tree Farm is a special place. It's a privately owned, active working forest with a network of un-mapped trails and roads like none other. It’s the “Hidden Jem” to outsiders and still amazes the locals.

THE JOURNEY.....

....INTO A LIFETIME

We would love for every one of you to be able to make the 4.8-mile round trip journey with us to this incredible spot, but we understand this is very tall order to ask of our guests! We are asking that if you can’t safely hike, bike or horse back in, that you please join us at our Reception at Bertelsen Winery just down the road!

GETTING TO....

....THE TRAIL HEAD

Please check the Helpful link tab for Driving Directions to the parking lot area, gate entrance. Once you get to a locked gate, with a large gravel Turn-around area, and a porta potty, you will know you have safely made it. (View Parking Map under the Helpful Link Tab above) Please park anywhere on the east side of the road as far off into the shoulder as possible. DO NOT PARK IN THE HORSE TRAILER TURN AROUND AREA. PLEASE BE KIND AND COURTEOUS OF OTHER TRAIL USERS AS THE TRAILS WILL BE OPEN DURING THIS EVENT. As always, we encourage carpooling as we are not sure exactly how many people are going to be attending the ceremony. Look for a sign pointing you in the right direction to begin your journey with us.

THE HIKE.....

.....through the woods

This is by no means a stroll down a flat sidewalk through Arlington, nor is it as difficult as summiting Mt. Pilchuck. Somewhere in the middle though. The hike is made up of fire roads, and well groomed, single and double tract. It is a steady incline to the “Monument”, with steeper sections that may challenge you. The route will be marked with Signs and ground paint leading you in the right direction! NO ONE HIKES ALONE. NO ONE! Please travel in pairs or groups! Bears, Cougars, Owls and everything in between have been seen alone the route we are going to be traveling. Also, the trails will still be open to Hikers, Bikers and Equestrians. Keep your eyes open for others who may be also enjoying the trails, have trail etiquette, and remember people going up the trail have the right away.

HOW SHOULD....

....I prepare

Don’t go full Patagonia, Helly Hanson, North Face on us. That’s over kill. We are not hiking the Pacific Crest trail here. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water and snacks. Use the restroom (porta potty, only one) before you start the hike as there will not another chance to go until your return back to the parking lot. Give yourself plenty of time for you and your family to make the trip up. The "I do's" are firing off at 1 pm. The hike took our family ~1hr. on our trial trip to make the hike up at a casual pace, exploring slugs, snakes, bugs and the vegetation along the way.

Holler Back.....

....If you have more questions.

If you have any concerns or questions please email or text us. We will do our best to add those questions to the FAQ tab on our website for everyone to see. We look forwards to seeing all of your beautiful faces on our special day! With love, Tyler, Amber, Rilyn & Lynden Email: tyler@tdrcontracting.com and/or a.nash12@yahoo.com Text: Tyler 425-876-7650 and/or Amber 425-971-5609 Tremendous thanks to the Pilchuck Recreation Association for allowing us the opportunity to make this happen.

For all the days along the way
