Wedding Party

Stephanie Brown

Matron of Honor

Erin and I have been friends since move-in day at Colgate when we both lived in Curtis after a cute meet in a bathroom. Since then we've spent countless hours building our friendship through our adventures like road tripping to Hilton Head to quiet moments like pancake Saturdays in our senior year apartment. Erin has become one of my closest confidants and an incredible source of positivity and I'm so honored to be part of her and Mike's special day. I currently live in Austin, TX, with my husband, Chris, and our dog, Quint.

Matthew Despres

Best Man

Matt and Mike met through mutual friends nearly a decade ago at Georgetown, and bonded over their love of video games and craft beer. Even though Matt stayed behind in DC when Mike moved on and up to NYC they stayed close, and Matt asked Mike to serve as high-performing best man at his wedding in 2015. Matt currently works in foreign affairs and is married to to a lovely woman who works for a film festival in the embodiment of a classic DC marriage.

Katie Blondin

Bridesmaid

Even though we are cousins, Erin has always been a sister to me. She has helped me navigate through life, school, relationships and everything in-between! I can’t wait to stand by her as she goes through this milestone in her life! I am finishing up my Masters of Accounting, and I live in Fairfax with my fiancé and two dogs.

Charley Cooper

Groomsman

I’m Charley. I met Mike while we both were at Georgetown through our friend Matt (also in this wedding). We have spent many late nights drinking craft beer during the years. Fun fact, I used to be on my high school sailing team.

Kate Briscoe

Bridesmaid

Erin and I met at Colgate University, and our friendship kicked off during the fateful summer of 2010 when we both spent the summer at Colgate together as Upstate Institute Fellows. We carpooled to Utica every day, and had a blast hosting different theme parties each night (80s, White Party, Olympics...). After graduation, we lived together in NYC and navigated the joys and challenges of post-college life. I'll never forget binge watching Game of Thrones during Hurricane Sandy, or making pancakes to Earth, Wind, and Fire on Saturday mornings! I currently live in Seattle with my fiance and can't wait to celebrate Mike and Erin in their new adventure!

Christopher El-Khuri

Groomsman

I'm Chris. Met the upstanding gentleman of society in our intern year of residency at Hopkins and I have the unfortunate luck of knowing him for 2 years so far. I am currently still an emergency medicine resident and the token Lebanese of my cohort! Fun Fact: On a random trip to Germany I mistakenly beat a national champion in Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 64. I welcome all challengers.

Kate Byun

Bridesmaid

Erin and I became Facebook (and IRL) friends on November 5th, 2008. Little did we know, after 10+ years, that we would best friends forever! I am honored to be there for Erin, with full support (physically and emotionally), to build the special memory that will not be forgotten. There will be tears, joy, remembrance of times at Colgate & NYC, lots of wine, and maybe munches for our favorite, WINGS. The day could not come any sooner!

Bobby Lynch

Groomsman

I’m Mike’s cousin Bobby. Currently working in finance near Philly. I’ve known Mike since we were kids playing indoor Home Run Derby using stuffed animals, copying wrestling moves on TV, and purposely annoying the neighbors from the pool with bad renditions of “Home on the Range”. Fun fact: I drove to Houston and back in one week last year.

Katya Geltser

Bridesmaid

Erin and I were assigned as freshman year roommates at Colgate University; we went on to also live together in our senior year and in NYC after college. We have had many adventures together outside of Hamilton: in Russia, Hilton Head, Vegas, NYC, and even Turning Stone Casino. I currently live in NYC with my husband and our two cats, Elly and Pearl.

Prasant Lokinendi

Groomsman

My name is Prasant, and I work as a Product Manager at Turo. I met Mike when we both were in the same class at the the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science in Worcester, MA, so I've known Mike for almost 13 years at this point. A fun fact about me: I'm a credit card miles travel hacker.

Lauren Nash

Bridesmaid

Erin and I first met in 2017 when I started dating her brother, Ryan. Since then, Erin’s become one of my best friends, go-to gal pal, and now my future sister-in-law. From day one, Erin has always been there for support and motivation, and we’ve shared many laughs along the way (with a side of craziness)! Through it all, we’ve gotten to share many memories together, and I cannot wait to share more as her sister-in-law and bridesmaid. As for me, I am a second grade teacher to bunch of crazy, cool kids. Ryan and I just bought a house in Locust Grove, VA with our one-eyed pup, Richard, and we look forward to starting our life together!

Ryan Nash

Groomsman

Top of the morning! My name is Ryan and I will be Mike's future brother-in-law. I live near Fredericksburg, VA and am a Project Manager at an engineering firm. The Dr. and I met during a trip I took to NYC for work. I stayed the night in Mike's apartment at NYU. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as fishing and hunting, and I am getting married on 11/2/19 to my fiance Lauren Johnson, who is also part of the wedding party.

Alexandra Kiritsy

Bridesmaid

I’m the proud sister of Michael and am so looking forward to being a proud sister-in-law to Erin! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Erin over the last several years. She is a wonderful person to talk to and her positive energy is so contagious! I’ve really enjoyed spending the holidays with her and had so much fun during our 2017 family trip to FL! I sure hope she has caught the Kiritsy Disney bug! Erin and Michael are the perfect pair, and I’m so excited for the big day to welcome her into our family! I am currently a student at Wellesley College studying Mathematics.

Collin Nash

Groomsman

I’m Collin Nash and Mike's future brother-in-law. I am a US Capitol Police Officer and an Intelligence Officer in the Army Reserves. I met Mike when Erin brought him to a family gathering to introduce him to everyone back in Syracuse in 2016. Honestly my first impression was that he looked dapper, and it hasn’t changed since. Since 2016, we’ve shared good times at weddings, holidays, Vegas, Lake Anna and more. Fun fact: I was voted class clown of my senior class in high school.

Maggie Ortiz

Bridesmaid

Erin has always been the big sister I never had -- helping me through life and even standing next to me on my own wedding day. I got married at the end of last year, to my now-husband Nick Ortiz, and we just added a puppy, Oliver, to the family!

Matthew Nazari

Groomsman

I met Michael freshman year of college at Georgetown. I likely also corrupted him early on by cultivating a snobbish yet refined palate for scotch rivaled only by an equally deplorable enjoyment for fraternity parties (perhaps Michaels Golden Age of social evolution also dubbed a "fall from innocence")--though both us would likely deny all this looking back at things. I obtained my MD from Drexel University College of Medicine, shockingly, and am a current Internal Medicine and Pediatrics resident at Georgetown University Hospital. I occasionally do stand-up comedy in my free time.

Amy Seaman

Bridesmaid

Erin and I met in kindergarten and have been close friends ever since. We spent so much time together growing up -- from playing with American Girl dolls & making silly home videos, going to school dances, college visits -- and even ending up as roommates in NYC. I currently live on Lake Hopatcong in NJ with my dog and boyfriend.

David Orbuch

Groomsman

I am a second-year dermatology resident at New York University who is born and raised in New York. Mike and I became friends during my first year of medical school and our friendship has continued through business school and beyond. An important lesson I have learned as a friend of Mike is not to challenge him in a long distance running challenge!

Sunny Patel

Groomsman

Hi I’m Sunny. I’m an ER resident at Stanford. I met Mike my first year of medical school at NYU and we shared many rotations through medical school and classes in business school. The thing I love about Mike is his ability to balance life, work and the pursuit of happiness. In this spirit, the man’s golf swing could use some work, but I learned never to challenge his tie game!
