FAQs

Question

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

In short, no. We will be exchanging our vows in a private, intimate ceremony with our immediate family before the reception. While the ceremony itself will be small, we are looking forward to celebrating with our extended family and friends afterward. We know this is a bit nontraditional, and we completely understand if traveling for a reception-only celebration affects your plans. That said, it would truly mean so much to us to celebrate our marriage with you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to celebrate! We know it's a bar, but who's to say we can't dress up a bit! I'll be wearing a wedding dress after all. Think cocktail attire, skip the jeans and come as your best looking self.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, and to allow us to celebrate with our closest family and friends, invitations are limited to the guests listed on your invitation when RSVPing. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to the nature of our venue, we respectfully request an adults-only reception.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by 8/1/26 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Did someone say Guinness?

Answer

We did! We’ll kick off the celebration with an open bar and may transition to a cash bar later in the evening. Please be sure to bring a valid ID. We can’t wait to raise a pint with you!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! While our celebration won’t include a traditional sit-down dinner, we’ll be serving a variety of delicious passed appetizers during our cocktail-style reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We’ll be offering a variety of menu options and will do our best to accommodate common dietary needs. While we may not be able to customize individual items, please note any severe allergies in your RSVP.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

We’re keeping this one old-school and letting the city be part of the adventure! While there are several parking garages nearby, we recommend hopping on the T, grabbing an Uber or Lyft, renting a Blue Bike, or enjoying a walk through the city. Parking in Boston can be limited and pricey, so public transportation or rideshare is often the easiest way to arrive ready to celebrate!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Omni Parker House. Please check out the travel page to book your stay.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’re so lucky to already have a home filled with everything we need, and your presence at our celebration means the world to us. For those who have asked, or for loved ones celebrating with us from afar, we’ve created a newlywed fund to support our future together and honeymoon.

Question
