We met accidentally through a friend Steven went on castings with. We spoke casually online for months until our first date in 2015. We went for sushi & watched the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center. It was perfect. We dated long distance for the next 10 months until I received a phone call from Steven saying “How do you feel about me moving to Michigan?”. Three months later he moved from New York to our first home together in Troy, MI. It was a hasty decision, but the best one both of us has ever made.

Steven surprised me by painting a mural in Eastern Market Detroit for his proposal. The giant mural was painted by hand in 30 degree temperatures. He’s pretty amazing. I couldn’t say yes fast enough. We cannot wait to spend our lives together as husband & wife, and are thrilled to be celebrating with those closest to us!

We are having our wedding in NYC to celebrate our first date, the long distance relationship it created, & the love we have for each other & this city.
