FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code: Semi-formal Recommendations: Our reception is being held outdoors on packed-down gravel. Although we have heaters, we recommend bringing a sweater. Also, we kindly request that you consider wearing comfortable footwear.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Are guests welcome?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive between 4:45pm and 5:00pm. This should give you enough time to find your seat and grab a drink before we make our entrance at 5:30pm.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is limited - We recommend carpooling or taking an Uber, if possible. Guests are welcome to park along N Ashbrook Ln and overflow parking will be available if needed.

Question

Why does the invite say reception only?

Answer

We will be married in a private ceremony on the afternoon of November 4, 2023. We realize that this might be different from the traditional wedding setup, but we hope you understand our decision and respect our desire for a more intimate ceremony. Your presence at the reception is truly significant to us, and we would love to share this joyous occasion with you.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will have a local food truck for dinner and dessert. There will be no vegetarian or vegan options. There will be an open bar.
