FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 6th so we can make sure you have a seat at the celebration!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive by 3:30 PM so we can have you comfortably seated before the ceremony begins.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love for you to wear your Sunday best—think your nicest church outfit! Since our ceremony and reception are outdoors, we recommend bringing a light layer for added comfort. Please avoid white or cream, as these colors are reserved for the bride. 🌸

Question

What can we do in between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, you're welcome to head directly to the reception area. However, if you'd like to take a moment to explore, Jester Park and Saylorville Lake offer stunning views and an elk viewing area, all just minutes away—perfect for photos or a brief stroll before we gather for the celebration.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?

Answer

We love your people, but our guest list is carefully planned. Your invitation will clearly show who is included by name. If your little ones or a guest aren't listed, we kindly ask that it's just you this time! 🙏

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Yes! You can find our registry right here on this site. Your presence is the real gift, but if you'd like to celebrate us, we'd be so grateful. 💝

Question

I have another question — who do I contact?

Answer

Reach out to Nyamal Scott at (319) 360-6024 and we'll get back to you ASAP!
