Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nari Salim and Ryan Bielecki
South Haven is our favorite destination for so many reasons, and we are so excited to get to share it with you all! Don’t feel like you have to stay in town though; there are so many great and lovely towns all around South Haven for you to explore! Our favorites include: Saugatuck, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, and St. Joseph.

South Haven Farm Market

539 Phoenix Street, South Haven, MI 49090

Every Saturday morning from 8am-2pm, South Haven is home to a wonderfully spread farmers market downtown. Check out local Michigan vendors for all things honey, spices, grass fed meats, cheese, apothecary, and more!

Admiral Jack's Bar & Grill

515 Williams Street, South Haven, MI 49090

Admiral Jack's is our favorite bar/restaurant in town. It's on a boat so you already know the views and atmosphere are great! Live music usually plays Friday and Saturday nights. Nar's Drink picks: Rum Runner (get it here, not at Captain Lou's!), Pina Colada, or a Hard Arnold Palmer. Food: Boom Boom Shrimp, Chicken wrap, pretty much anything is good though!

Captain Lou's

278 Dyckman Avenue, South Haven, MI 49090

This is THE night scene (usually) if you're looking for a bar/club. It's outside also like Jack's, and gets very busy especially with a band playing.

Snake Oil Roasters

268 Broadway Street, South Haven, MI 49090

Our favorite coffee place in town; the owners Luke and Keke are amazing. This is a go-to especially if you're looking for specialty coffee like a latte. No food here except baked goods.

Cafe Julia

561 Huron Street, South Haven, MI 49090

For Breakfast and Coffee- go to Julia's. Their Fiesta Wrap (breakfast) and Papa Leo (lunch) is both of our favorites. (we don't really recommend Phoenix Street Cafe for breakfast because the wait time gets crazy busy and the food is very average).

Black River Tavern

403 Phoenix Street, South Haven, MI 49090

Where the locals go- Towny Bar scene. It's great if you need food/drinks but want to be inside and watching TVs play some kind of sport. Go Sports!

South // North Beach

60 Water Street, South Haven, MI 49090

There are 2 beaches in SoHa, South and North Beach. We usually go to and prefer South Beach but you can't go wrong with either. South Beach is right off the Phoenix street and is very family friendly. North Beach is over the bridge and tends to be more rowdy/louder, and has volleyball nets. Both beaches have concession stands and bathrooms.
