Ka ʻAha Hoʻāo - Marriage Ceremony

E ʻaʻahu nō i kou lole keu a ka nani. E wela ana paha ma ka wā o ka ʻAha Hoʻāo, e huʻihuʻi ana naʻe ke napoʻo ka lā. E hoʻomākaukau pono. Attire is semi-formal. Brides encourage guests to "dress to impress" in their finest Aloha or semi-formal attire. During the Marriage Ceremony it may be hot, but it may get chilly in the evening. Do prepare accordingly.
Aia ana ka ʻAha Hoʻāo ma Hale Kaʻōnohi, kahi like o ka ʻAha ʻAina. **VENUE HAS CHANGED: Ceremony will be at Hale Kaʻōnohi, the same place as the Reception.** Ma kēia wā, noi ʻia nā ʻohana a me nā hoapili e hoʻopio i nā kelepona. E komo piha nō ka poʻe a pau ma kēia awaiāulu like ʻana o nā wāhine. Ua hoʻokuleana ʻia kekahi kanaka paʻi kiʻi nāna e mālama i kēia kuleana. E hiki ana ke paʻi kiʻi KE PAU ia hana koʻikoʻi loa. The brides ask that you be fully present at the ceremony by turning off all phones and cameras. Live in that special moment with them. A photographer has been hired to do all the picture taking. Save your phones and cameras for later at the PĀʻINA! If you will not be able to join us in person, RSVP to "CAN'T COME? JOIN US VIRTUALLY! " The Marriage Ceremony will signify the unity of both Leonani and ʻAlohilani.

With the great uncertainty of COVID-19, the brides have decided to LIVESTREAM their wedding on the internet. Exact start time of the livestream and all announcements will be shared to the "Na Pakaa 2020" Facebook group page. Sweet Hawaiian and classic local hits by ʻUheʻuhene. E pū paʻakai kākou i ka ʻaina ahiahi na Keonie Ramirez, owner of @everything_buthe_kitchen_sink. Nāna nō e hānai i ka ʻaina ahiahi keu a ka ʻono me nā ʻai o uka a me nā ʻai o kai e māʻona ai ka ʻōpū. E paʻi kiʻi aku nō! Mai poina i ka hoʻohana i ia mau kiko kele, #nāpākaʻa2020 - AND - #ʻaeDo At the wedding reception guests will enjoy food, fellowship, hula, and Hawaiian music. Sweet Hawaiian and local music will be provided by the brides' favorite group, ʻUheʻuhene. Chef Keonie Ramirez of @everything_buthe_kitchen_sink will prepare the food for the guests.
