On paper, it shouldn’t have worked. Ryan is a proud University of Florida Gator. Naomi is a fiercely loyal Florida State Seminole—twice over. Our alma maters are rivals, our colors clash, and game days could have been trouble. But instead of letting rivalry keep us apart, we decided to write our own playbook. From the very beginning, we were each other’s safe place. We became best friends—the kind who can turn a simple errand into an adventure, or spend an entire afternoon doing nothing at all and still call it the perfect day. Our home is filled with laughter, love, and the happy chaos of our beloved dogs. Travel has become one of our favorite ways to write new chapters together. Our first trip took us halfway across the world to New Zealand, chasing the magic of The Lord of the Rings and wandering through landscapes that felt like Middle-earth itself. It was there, among mountains and rolling green hills, that we realized we didn’t just want to share trips… we wanted to share a lifetime. From that first message on Hinge to this very moment, we’ve been building a story of love, friendship, and endless possibility. And now, surrounded by our favorite people, we can’t wait to begin the greatest adventure of all—marriage.
