FAQs

Question

How many guests are you expecting at the wedding?

Answer

We're anticipating having about 40 guests join us for our wedding celebration. We've chosen to keep the event intimate, focusing on sharing this special day with our closest friends and family.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Due to the cozy nature of our venue and our vision for a small, intimate gathering, we kindly request that the invitation is extended only to those named.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by 5/28/24. Your prompt response will greatly assist us in finalizing our plans and ensuring a wonderful experience for everyone.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To maintain the ambiance of the venue and because our celebration will be held at a wine bar, we've decided to make our wedding an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice allows you to arrange any necessary childcare, and we appreciate your understanding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Your health and enjoyment are important to us! Please reach out to us directly with any food allergies or dietary restrictions. While we cannot guarantee that all requests can be accommodated due to the restaurant's limitations, we promise to work closely with you to find a suitable solution.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Given the limited parking available, we recommend using ride-sharing services such as Uber, Lyft, or Waymo for transportation to and from the venue.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Limited parking is available at the venue. To ease any potential parking challenges, we suggest carpooling with other guests if possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. However, we want you to feel comfortable and stress-free about your outfit. If you don't have something in your wardrobe that fits this description, please don't worry about purchasing something new just for our event. Your presence is what matters most to us!

Question

What is the wedding's color scheme?

Answer

For anyone seeking inspiration, the color scheme of our wedding can be found right in your invitations. We've chosen a palette of muted green, blue, and red, aiming for a moody atmosphere with some pops of color to keep things lively. However, we want to emphasize that there's no need to stress about your outfit. This information is meant to inspire those who've asked, not to create any worry. We're just happy to celebrate with you, in whatever color you choose to wear!

Question

Will there be a break between the reception and the afterparty?

Answer

To keep the celebration flowing and make the most of our time together, our current plan is to transition directly from the reception to the afterparty. Considering the hotels are a bit out of the way, it makes more sense for us all to move directly to the afterparty venue once we're done at the wine bar. This way, we avoid any unnecessary back-and-forth. However, we’re open to making adjustments to ensure the best experience for everyone, so this plan might evolve. For now, we’re aiming for a seamless transition to the afterparty and we're really looking forward to having you join us for all the fun! We’ll keep you updated with any changes to the plan, so stay tuned!

Question

Can we expect any changes to the wedding schedule, especially regarding the afterparty and picnic?

Answer

As we fine-tune the details of our celebration, please note that some aspects, like the afterparty and the picnic at the park, are still in the planning stages and might see some adjustments. Rest assured, the wedding ceremony at Buddy is set in stone – that’s a date you can definitely mark on your calendars! I've entrusted Shawn with organizing the afterparty and picnic, so stay tuned for those details. We’ll be updating our website and sending out emails with any schedule changes to ensure you’re fully in the loop. Thanks for bearing with us!
