In 2023, our paths crossed at a church in Ottawa called The Met. Yes, we met at The Met. If that's not meant to be, we don't know what is! It all started with what should have been a casual game of spike-ball that turned into something far more memorable. As we spent more time together, we quickly discovered we had more in common than just our love of competition. We shared mutual friends, similar passions, and most telling, a shared tendency to give our vehicles the most ridiculous names. Our relationship blossomed through spontaneous adventures, fierce mini putt dates, and countless moments of laughter. We realized we'd found not just a partner, but a best friend! Someone who shares our faith, makes us laugh, and somehow makes even grocery runs feel like an adventure. Now, as we prepare to say "I do," we're ready to embark on our greatest adventure yet. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with the friends and family who have supported us, cheered us on, and been part of our journey from that first spike-ball game to forever.
