Reed and Naomi met at work back in 2019 and have been enjoying giggles and silly hijinks together ever since. Reed was immediately drawn by Naomi's beautiful smile and Naomi was enamored by Reed's goofy antics. On Halloween of 2025, they finally were engaged with the help of local band Aurora and a vocal performance by Reed dressed as Wario dedicated to Naomi as Princess Peach to the tune of I'm a Believer.
