FAQs

Question

What COVID precautions are being taken?

Answer

In order to protect the health and safety of all guests including several immuno-compromised loved ones, any guest who is not vaccinated will be asked to show proof of a negative COVID test within the state of Illinois. We also ask any vaccinated guests traveling from out of town to get tested as well for peace of mind. There will be hand sanitizer and complimentary masks available on the day of the wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm on Saturday, November 20th. We recommended arriving 30 minutes early!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Engelbrecht Farm is a spacious property so there is plenty of parking on-site.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception held in the same venue?

Answer

Yes; both the ceremony and reception will be held in the spacious indoor heated barn.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

As per the policies set forth by the venue, smoking will not be permitted within 15 feet of any venue building. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, and vaping.

Question

What is the weather like in Central Illinois in November?

Answer

Late Fall in Illinois is marked by a drop in temperatures with an average high of 50 degrees and a low of 30 degrees in November. While the ceremony and reception are being held indoors in a heated barn, we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather when you are traveling to and from the venue.
