Our story began in high school theatre. I was a senior, and he was a junior. We spent our days rehearsing, performing, and making memories without realizing that we were beginning a love story that would last a lifetime. At first, he simply needed a prom date. His mother encouraged him to find someone to take to prom, and he chose to ask me. When he asked, I honestly didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t interested in him at first and saw it as just going to prom with a friend. Little did I know that one simple invitation would end up changing my life. As we spent more time together, I began to see the kind, funny, and caring person he was. What started as a prom date quickly turned into a friendship, and that friendship eventually grew into love. Before I knew it, the person I hadn’t initially considered became the person I couldn’t imagine my life without. Over the last five years, we have grown up together, celebrated milestones, supported each other through challenges, and shared countless laughs and memories. Through every season, our relationship has been built on friendship, trust, and love. Looking back, it’s funny to think that all he needed was a prom date, and I thought it was nothing more than that. What began in a high school theatre program became the greatest love story of our lives. Now, after five wonderful years together, we’re excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife. We are so thankful for our family and friends who have supported us throughout our journey, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story.
