Grant was Naomi's home teacher at church their freshman year at BYU. They became really good friends after being the wingmen who brought their two best friends together. Several years of mutual friend-zoning later, the two reconnected at said best friends' wedding. Grant and Naomi quickly realized their mutual interest in and happiness with each other. Grant keeps Naomi laughing, and Naomi keeps Grant grounded ;)
