Welcome To Our Happily Ever After

Naomi and George met through a mutual friend, Rachel, and immediately hit it off. After meeting for the first time, they knew they would like to see each other more. Although they began their relationship long-distance, they never let the distance come between them. Soon after they met in 2020, on January 1st, 2021, George asked Naomi to be his girlfriend, and they have been inseparable ever since. In 2023, they got their first apartment together in downtown Portland, ME. George knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Naomi after flying to Ohio for Naomi's brother's wedding in May of 2023. He saw their future flash in front of his eyes, and he saw happiness. After asking Naomi's mom for her blessing in marrying her daughter, which she happily approved, the next step was looking for a ring and planning a proposal. In October 2023, with the help of one of Naomi’s best friends, Zoya, they found the perfect ring. After that, they planned a trip to Disney/Florida, which is a happy place for Naomi and George, so it was the perfect place for a proposal. At Epcot, a park in Disney World, they had a lovely French dinner at the park, which was followed by a walk to the fireworks that were beginning soon. George took the ring from his pocket, got down on one knee, and asked the big question. Naomi, of course, said yes as the fireworks went off in the background.
